omniQ Now at Salt Lake City Airport
September 3, 2019 — Quest/HTS is now operational at the Salt Lake City Airport. The solution deployed at the airport include our fixed cameras at parking lot entrances and exits for Parking Management and Revenue Control and SeeMobile a vehicle based mobile solution where cameras are installed on airport parking management vehicles for vehicle inventory management throughout the airport parking lots.
SeeMobile is a comprehensive inventory system that provides all the data you need to efficiently manage parking assets:
- Locate lost vehicles
- Identify vehicle overstays
- Monitor vehicle movement between spaces
- Provide updated inventory counts by location – garage, lot, floor, and row
- Sync collected data with the central repository for effortless hot-list and inventory management
As the patrol vehicle traverses a predefined route through the facility, imaging units capture and store license plates, matching against hot lists of vehicles of interest, and then syncing the information to the central SeeControl server which is easily accessed for inventory management and reporting purposes.
The mobile system includes two cameras mounted on the roof, each pointing to the two sides of the scanning vehicle. It scans the plates of both parking rows in parallel, thus minimizing the time to cover all hundreds of parking places.
